Background
The Atlanta Botanical Garden is a showcase of the most beautiful and unusual flora in the region. Stroll through Japanese, rose, perennial, vegetable, rock, herb and conifer gardens, or walk the trails in a 15-acre mature hardwood forest. The Dorothy Chapman Fuqua Conservatory features thousands of endangered tropical and desert plants from around the world. The visitor center includes a museum shop, botanical library, classrooms and an exhibition hall for special events.
Location
The Atlanta Botanical Garden is located in the northwest
corner of Piedmont Park in the heart of Midtown.
Enter by car or foot from Piedmont Ave. at The Prado, between 14th St. and Monroe Dr., or take the MARTA train to the Arts Center Station and transfer to the #36 North Decatur bus. (NOTE: MARTA routes and schedules are subject to change; please check the MARTA website to confirm bus routes and times.) Free parking is available at the Garden.

April - October : Tuesday - Sunday, 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
November - March : Tuesday - Sunday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
The Fuqua Conservatory and museum shop open at 10 a.m.
The Garden is closed on Mondays and all day Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
Admission
Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors, $5 for students, and free for children under 6 and Garden Members. (Prices subject to change, please call to confirm).
Accessibility
All areas are accessible to visitors with disabilities.
Strollers are welcome in the outdoor gardens, but must
be left outside when visiting the Fuqua Conservatory.
Multi-Lingual Audio Tapes
International visitors can take a 30-minute audio tour of the Fuqua Conservatory in one of five languages: German, Spanish, French, Japanese, and English. Tapes can be rented for $2 at the Museum Shop.
Museum Shop
The Garden's Museum Shop offers an outstanding selection of garden books, note cards and stationery, hard-to-find gardener's supplies, seeds, bulbs, wedding gifts, jewelry, bird feeders, outdoor garden statuary, and wind chimes. A greenhouse showcases live plants including orchids, unusual succulents, ferns, carnivorous plants and beautiful houseplants. The Museum Shop opens at 10am.

Sheffield Botanical Library
The Garden's Sheffield Botanical Library holds over 3,000 books and 60 periodicals on all aspects of gardening and horticulture. Researchers are welcome to use the library, but books and periodicals are not available for check out, and may not be removed.
Special Events
The Garden is available for rental for private parties, weddings, and corporate meetings. Call the Special Events Department at 4.4876.5859 ext. 210 or 224 for available dates and rental fee information.
