Monroe Drive - atlanta-midtown.com's guide to intown business districts Monroe Drive runs from Piedmont Circle (near the intersection where Piedmont Avenue becomes Piedmont Road) South to Ponce de Leon Avenue. After crossing Ponce de Leon Ave., Monroe Drive becomes Boulevard. It continues South past I-20 into South Atlanta.

North of Ponce de Leon Avenue, Monroe drive runs through the neighborhoods of Midtown, Virginia-Highland, Morningside, Ansley Park, and Piedmont Heights. There are a number of business districts located along Monroe Drive North of Ponce.
